Though we travel throughout the state, Ocean County, NJ is home to JBL Appraisal Services. It is a great area to live and work. There are several interesting facts about the county including that Ocean County is the largest county in the state. As of the 2010 Census it is a total area of 915.40 square miles of which approximately 31% is water. The county seat of Ocean is Toms River.
Ocean County is also the fasting growing county in NJ in number of residents. Ocean County has an expansive stretch of shoreline and is home to the boardwalk resorts of Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant Beach, which are both under reconstruction due to Hurricane Sandy. And it is noted for boating and fishing.
Aside from the many seashore attractions, Ocean County also boasts Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, which has the world’s tallest roller coaster, Kingda Ka. In addition, Ocean County is a gateway to New Jersey’s Pine Barrens, one of the largest protected pieces of land on the East Coast.
